We had a cars party for Prescott’s birthday party which isn’t
really a big surprise. However, we did our best to change it up this year.
Mommy found a carwash and put Daddy right to work making it. Like always our
handyman dad went above and beyond with the party project and it turned out
amazing!

We ate hotdogs, fruit and chips for dinner because Prescott still loves hotdogs and this is a meal he can eat. I always try really hard to make his birthday a day that he can eat everything because it’s his special day.

After dinner we opened presents which was so funny to watch. Prescott would open each present so slow and would tear piece by piece. However, he wouldn’t even look at or acknowledge what the gift was until he had ALL the wrapping paper off. He got lots of fun gifts from family but his favorite gift was Frank from Grandpa and Grandma Huntsman. Ever since he saw Frank in the Cars ride in Disneyland he hasn't stopped talking about Frank and wanting him. He kept telling Grandma Huntsman that she was going to give Frank to him for his birthday. This was very tricky since they don’t make Frank anymore and all the lovely collectors have turned him into a very pricey item online. But he was one happy little boy when he opened his beloved Frank!

After opening gifts Prescott had his special Rice Krispies cake and
we sang Happy Birthday to him. It doesn’t take a lot to make this cute boy
happy. Put some cars on his Rice Krispies cake and you have one VERY happy
little boy smiling from ear to ear.
After Prescott’s cake we had our carwash races which the
kids loved and the adults enjoyed watching.
We finished the party in the
swimming in the pool and everyone squirting everything and everyone like crazy with the squirt guns that Grandpa Bawden brought. I wasn’t planning on swimming but Uncle Chaddy threw me in my clothes.
It was such an amazing night and we are so lucky to have
such amazing and supportive families. It was the perfect way to celebrate
Prescott turning 3 years old.

He is one very loved and spoiled little boy!
