So Kyle finally gets to take Kayson overnight, yeah yeah!!! Kayson LOVES his daddy and if you haven't ever seen a picture of Kyle, Kayson looks like a Kyle mini me. So we love to go out and see Kayson when Kyle gets to take him. When we open the door Kayson comes running everytime to find Paislee, he loves her and she just adores him. He can't say Paislee yet so he calls her "P." So on Sunday we went out to see Kayson. Pais decided to read Kayson some stores, it was so cute. Good thing he didn't care what the book really said because Pais was just making up stories to the pictures.

FLASHBACK
So as I was getting our family Christmas cards ready this year I found some really random items in with the envelopes. SIDENOTE: So anyone who really knows me knows I am not one to have things in random places, everything has a place and is labeled in a container. So where these random wedding invitations of ours ended up in this box is truly beyond me. So I thought it would be fun to scan them and post about them. So here is a copy of our wedding invitations and cards we send out about 6 1/2 years ago. I would have to admit that I had no idea how hard being married would be, no matter how much you love and adore each other. Like most people Chad and I have had our fair share of tough times in our lives, times when we weren't sure that we would ever get through them. And then we have had the happy times in our lives, the times where we felt like we were in a fairy tale and times we are so happy that our lives feels completely perfect. Either way through the good or bad times I love you babe, more than anything. You are my #1! Here's a scroll down memory lane..

SAM'S CLUB SANTA
So the other day while getting some groceries at Sam's Club I noticed a sign to do picture's with Santa for only $5 and all the money was going to Primary Children's. Well before I looked over to see Santa NOT sitting there I asked Pais if she wanted to get her picture taken with Santa. So excited and with the magical glow in her eyes we had to wait for 25 minutes for Santa to get back from feeding his reindeer. She was really excited to tell him she wanted a "Diginal camera" for Christmas. The lady taking the pictures and I starting laughing when Santa asked her 3 times what she wanted because he couldn't understand what she was saying. So the cute lady taking the pictures had to translate for Santa.

WARD CHRISTMAS PARTY
On Friday we went to the ward Christmas party. The activity committee did a fantastic job, it looked awesome! After a yummy dinner and some fun crafts for the kids there was a special visitor. Everyone standing around us started laughing as Paislee told Santa she wanted a "Diginal camera for Christmas." She was also really excited that Santa noticed that one of his reindeer's were on her shirt. Santa told her it was Dasher, Paislee said, "No that is not this reindeer's name Santa."
I think they kinda like each other, what do you think?

CHRISTMAS PARTY #1

So we always have my family Christmas party the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I love it then. It gets us in the Christmas mood and then we don't have to try and find a day during the CRAZY month of December for another Christmas party. So this year for the party we had a ugly sweater contest and it was seriously hilarious. Paislee won the kid age with her UGLY and I mean horrible sweater. Then my mom won fair and square with her U of U ugly, ugly, ugly sweatshirt lol, Go MOM!!! We then do our annual nativity with all the cute kids playing a part. This year Paislee was Mary because with Hallee & Hope out of town she was the next oldest girl for the part. But I have to admit she was the cutest Mary ever, okay maybe I am a little bias. We then played games and had a pinata for the kids, which all the kids walked away with a bag loaded with candy. After that we have the our family tradition game of musical chairs. Now this isn't your typical musical chairs this is get a chair and stay in a chair no matter what it takes. Well I proud to announce I am the girl winner for 4 years running. (We ended up separating the boys and girls because my mom and aunt got hurt a couple of years ago) Kyle won the boys game of musical chairs so they thought we should play for the top winner. Well both sides of my legs are black & blue with bruises and are so dang sore I can't lay on my side but hey I kicked his butt GO ME!!! Like any good Christmas party we ended with a special guest. Paislee was so dang cute and was wide eyed just watching Santa's every move. She was so excited to sit on his lap and grinned from ear to ear as she proudly announced she would like a "digical camera." The party was so much fun and really got us in the Christmas spirit and who doesn't enjoy spending some quality time with the family.

MR. PEEPS & SUGAR PLUM
So Mr. Peeps and the Sugar Plum "Elveses" as Paislee calls them have come to our house & car to watch Paislee to let Santa know if she is being naughty or nice. Mr. Peeps left a note and was hiding on top of the entertainment center. We knew he had a sister hiding but we didn't know where she would be. When we got in the car to head to Thanksgiving dinner, Paislee face was totally priceless as she noticed where Sugar Plum was hiding. She was really excited and was super awesome for about 3 days. The she got mad about day four and was throwing a fit when I reminded her Mr. Peeps was watching. She responded with, "I hate him watching me all the time mom I wish he would just go home!" HA HA HA I bet you do Paislee but he is here to stay until Christmas. Welcome, welcome Mr. Peeps & Sugar Plum!

THANKSGIVING DAY
(Oh check out the turkey I made in Paislee hair for Thanksgiving, it looked so dang cute!)
We switch every other year like everyone else does to each side of our families. This year was Chad's family so we went to the church with his grandparents and all the family. There are a ton of people and lots & lots of food, which together is a great time. After dinner and games we headed over with my family to eat some pie. At my Aunt's house we came up with our game plan for black Friday. I started my shopping day at 12:00 am with Chad's mom and sisters and then met up with my mom, aunts and cousins around 4:00 am. There were so many more people out and about shopping this year, it was CRAZY!!! But tons of fun like always, around noon is when my cousin and I start to get the "anything and everything" is funny giggles. I got home around 2:00 pm and went straight down for a two hour nap before putting up our Christmas decorations. Good times, good times, I LOVE IT!!!
I AM THANKFUL FOR...
This Thanksgiving I really had the things I was thankful for on my mind all day long. Of course like most people I am thankful for Chad, Paislee, my family, Chad's family, our home, good health, food on the table etc. However, this year I am really thankful for trials. I know that might sound weird but trials build you up when you didn't know it was possible. They push you to the edge when you don't think you can handle anymore and then they make you stronger than you ever thought possible. So this Thanksgiving I am thankful for the hard times in my life, the times when my Heavenly Father knew I could handle more even though I thought I was going to break.

"SAY CHEESE!"
So I have debated about putting this video on because Paislee was getting ready to get in the tub when she decided to line up all her dolls and start taking pictures. So she is in her panties and slippers, SORRY! But the video is so funny I decided to post it anyways. So as I was saying Paislee was putting her clothes in the laundry room to get ready to get in the tub. I was in her closet getting stuff ready for the next day when I could hear her telling her dolls to "Say cheese, diginal camera!" So I went and grabbed my camera to video it. Listen to how she says, "Say cheese, diginal camera!" because it is so dang funny. Can anyone guess what Paislee wants for Christmas this year? SAY CHEESE, DIGINAL CAMERA!

WHAT A CUTIE PIE!
I could hear Paislee having the time of her life in the tub so I walked in to check on her and I had to take a picture of her wearing the swimming doggy goggles because it made me laughed. Who says you can't go swimming in the Winter?
