Since we had a short Summer we decided to have a second Summer when Paislee went off track. Since Grandma Huntsman hadn't started school yet she came along for the off track fun week.
Our first stop was The Museum of Ancient Life. Both of the kids LOVED it. Next to Prescott's cars, dinosaurs are something he sort of likes.
They both keep asking me to take their pictures with the dinosaurs, I have taught them well!
We also went to The Living Aquarium for the first time since they have moved it.
It was amazing and the kids had a blast!
So Grandma Huntsman saw the Train Shoppe Depot on TV and we decided to go down
and check it out after we got some endless fries at Red Robin.
The Train Shoppe has a big train ride which Prescott absolutely
hated. But then for a quarter each, you can turn on and conduct small trains throughout the Train Shoppe. Prescott was in heaven and didn't want to leave. Paislee was mad we went there because she didn't want to go to the Train Shoppe but she actually had great time and loved controlling the trains.
I signed the kids up to bowel for free so we took advantage of it and went two different times.
Both Paislee and Prescott are not the best bowlers and we had bowling balls going in every which direction. It was a bit scary at times if I was standing behind them trying to help. But we had a great time and didn't end up with any injuries!
We also had a lazy day when we stayed in our pajamas all day, we all love those days. We had a chore day because the agreement to off track fun was at least one big chore around the house had to get done first before we went to do an activity. We ended our off track fun with dinner and playing at the Daybreak parks.
