2nd grade, WHERE DID THE TIME GO? Paislee got ready to go to second grade by going shoe shopping with Grandma Huntsman and clothes shopping with Dad and Mom. Then she picked to go to Olive Garden for her Back To School dinner. We do this each year as a school tradition to talk to her about the year and the things we expect from her. It's also a special time we tell her how proud we are of who she is and the choices she makes and how much we love her!
The first morning of 2nd grade the doorbell rang with her favorite powered donuts from the school fairy. (not the healthiest breakfast but hey it's from a fairy right and she leaves it on the doorstep) Then after breakfast she got dressed in her first day of 2nd grade outfit that she picked out. Paislee was so excited and had to have this makeup shirt from Justice. She told me the second she saw the makeup shirt, "Mom this shirt is just totally me." And it is just totally our Paislee Girl!
Here she is our big 2nd grader!
This year the ONLY one who she gave a hug goodbye to was Prescott. Yes, adorable and so sweet I know but her dad and I were kinda sad. Prescott cried the whole way home for his sissy, they have the cutest bond.
After school I made her favorite dinner stroganoff and we had a smart cookie party to celebrate 2nd grade and our smart cookie.
