LAVA HOT SPRINGS

Every two years we go up to Lava Hot Springs for Chad's extended family reunion. We eat breakfast, play games, swim, we went river raft (1st time this year) and we go to the hot springs, which is always my favorite.

Since it's no big surprise that the Bawden's are Utah fans, we are always the red family. And since the Bawden's are also VERY competitive we always seem to do well at the games as well!

The pool is always a family favorite. Unless it starts to lightening, thunder and then down pour! After the rain stopped we decided to try the river since we wouldn't have time to go back to the pool.

So because of a scary experience Chad's dad had with his little sister like 15 years ago, we have never gone down the river on the rafts. I have wanted to for years but we just haven't. However this year we finally went down the river on the rafts. We first sent Paislee down with her cousins, Aunt and Uncle. I was a nervous wreck because I have never been down the river myself and here I am sending my 7 year old. Well she LOVED it so we decided that we all wanted to go. So we rented some tubes and down the river we went. It was so much fun, I loved it and it will be something we do every time we go to Lave Hot Springs now!

I love that both my kids are fearless like their Daddy. Sometimes it makes me a crazy, nervous wreck because they will do and try anything. But when I see other kids cry and scared to try things, it is then that I am so happy my kids will and love to try fun and new things without being scared!

It was a fun family reunion, my favorite one we go to!
