My family decided we wanted to escape the cold weather for Easter, so we headed South to Mesquite for the Easter weekend! It was a BLAST and I can honestly say it was one of the best Easter's we have had. Paislee even said, "Mommy this Easter in squite is the greatest time huh?" Yes baby girl it really was, and this is why:

SATURDAY: The boys got up early and headed to St. George to go golfing at The Ledges. The girls however stayed for the Easter egg hunt at the Casa Blanca. They seriously had thousands of eggs hide all over the grass and brushes in the pool area. Les and I were cracking up because they were giving the casino coin buckets to the kids to collect eggs in. We tried to get the three girls to use one for the whole casino egg hunt experience but they wouldn't because they weren't cute lol! After the hunt all us girls headed up to St. George to go shopping. We got some great deals and the cutest matching outfits for the girls. After shopping we meet the boys and went to dinner and then headed back to Mesquite to take the kids to see How to Train a Dragon, which is adorable by the way.
SUNDAY: The minute the cute girls woke up they couldn't wait to look around the hotel room and find their Easter baskets. Paislee had to make sure I left the Easter Bunny a note at home so he knew to bring her basket to Mesquite. Well he got the memo and hide her basket in the shower on the shower head, and it took her FOREVER to find it! After looking through their Easter baskets, Grandpa & Grandma Huntsman SPOILED them rotten with more loot than the Easter Bunny brought. After all the Easter basket fun, we got our swimsuits on and headed down to the pool for a nice relaxing day in the sun.

Paislee had the time for her life and went down the slide at least 1,000 times. The best part of her slide ride was she would scream with delight (and if you haven't heard Paislee scream it is the highest pitch scream ever) from the top of the slide to the bottom. Then she would swim to the edge and would run (yes I yelled at her a billion times to stop running) right back to the top of the slide. She LOVED the slide!
It was so nice and relaxing in the warm sun that we didn't want to leave even to go eat lunch so we fixed that problem by ordering lunch and eating it pool side. After the girls were water logged Grandpa & Grandma Huntsman had a Easter egg hunt for them on the grass area by the pool. Paislee keeps telling me that hunt was her favorite part of the whole squite trip. So with treats and money in the girls Easter buckets we headed up to the room to get ready for our Easter dinner. So for Easter dinner we had delicious mexican food, the funny part is that is the first time in my ENTIRE life that we didn't have yummy potatoes and ham for Easter dinner. But it was totally worth missing out on the potatoes and ham for the rest of the trip. After our Mexican lol Easter dinner we went bowling and took the girls to the play in the arcade.

MONDAY: We slept in and then got a yummy casino breakfast and then headed back to the cold weather up North.
So the question on all of your minds is "Did anyone win big?" The answer to that is the girls yes and the boys no lol! My mom, Chaddy and I went down to gamble a bit and I was doing horrible at the blackjack table. So we headed over to watch my brother who was KILLING the table and winning huge. Mom gave Chaddy some money and he won her a small fortune. So next to Chaddy was the roulette table, so I decided to put the last few chips in my hand down just for fun. I have never really bet anything but red/black on the roulette table. So for fun I put 2 chips down on 19 which is Paislee's birthday and I put 2 chips down for mom's lucky number 7. Well it hit 19, mom and I were screaming and really had no idea how much we had even won. I guess my little Paislee girl is lucky! I took my chips with a shocked smile on my face and walked, yep I walked. However, I ended up giving my winnings to Chad and well the rest is history! Thanks again family for the fabulous weekend, it was so much fun. We sure love you guys tons & tons!!! (Sorry you couldn't come Kyle, we sure missed you and Kelly!)
