PAISLEE'S FIRST TALK IN PRIMARY

I about died last week when Paislee handed me her paper from primary saying she had to give a talk the next Sunday. Really??? My little girl is old enough to give a talk in primary (tears). Her theme for her talk was My Savior and Redeemer, and since Sunday was Valentine's day it worked out perfect. She did a GREAT job and several people after commented to Chad and I about how well she did. We decided to record it when we got home, so here's Paislee's giving her first talk in primary.

I have to admit the first time Paislee practiced her talk and finally got it down and was able to say it all by herself, it brought tears to my eyes. It was so awesome to feel the spirit just by listening to my 3 year old practice her primary talk. There is something pretty amazing about the sweet spirit and strength of young children. As parents we think we are teaching them everything they need to know, but sometimes they are teaching us just as much!

P.S. She also sang and signed "As I Have Loved You" with some other kids and the ward choir for Valentine's Day. She was the ONLY one up there who couldn't stand still, she is TOTALLY her Daddy's little girl.
