WHAT IS GOING ON?

So we have two hanging petunia planters right by each other on our front porch. Well, just the one keep dying and I couldn't figure out why. At first I thought maybe our drip system wasn't working on that side so I starting water it with the hose but still no luck. So finally after several attempts to bring it back and nothing happening I decided to throw it out. Well when I took it down I found a little surprise, a little bird's nest and three eggs. It is the cutest thing ever and I didn't have the heart to throw it away anymore. So later that night I took it back down and without touching it I cut the beautiful dead flowers around it off. We then hung it back up and each day Paislee asks me if the baby birds have been born yet.When I took the picture Paislee was getting upset and keep looking down at the eggs because the birds weren't smiling for the camera!
