Chad's entire extended family sleeps out every year on the 23rd for the 24th of July parade. I LOVE the parade and I love visiting with everyone but I have never loved sleeping over. Tradition or not I just don't like it and probably never will.
But my kids love everything about the sleep out and the parade. One of Paislee's favorite things that she talks about all year is the party pooper song. Grandpa Bawden gets all the kids and they stand on the side of the road and try to get cars to honk for them. If the car doesn't honk then Grandpa along with a group of wild and crazy kids sing the party pooper song to the car.
Prescott even liked the party pooper with Grandpa, he just watched Grandpa and all the kids and then would wave at the car when it would honk.
Parade time is always a good time, I mean who doesn't like a good parade!
