Prescott woke up on his birthday morning to his birthday decorations and birthday breakfast traditions. He was so excited about his birthday decorations that he wouldn't stop talking about them. For his birthday breakfast he wanted sausage and he actually keep the birthday hat on this year.
Prescott was so cute when he opened his presents because he got equally excited about his puzzle and about his new tablet.
He was hilarious when he opened his presents from Paislee, he could see what the gift was but he wouldn't get excited about what he knew it was until the entire wrapping paper was completely off.
This year Prescott wanted a Transformers party, which was a hard party to put together since no party stores even carry Transformers supplies anymore. But I did everything in my power to give Prescott the best Transformers party I could.
Because of Prescott's food allergies his birthday has always been the one time I will make whatever Prescott wants and can eat on his birthday. Even if it is something as odd as hotdogs and cheese like we had this year for dinner.
The entire party all Prescott did was ask if he could open his gifts. So thinking we were so sneaky we told him he was finally going to open his presents and we had a little surprise for him.
But he really didn't care about Optimus Prime when he came out because all the little stinker wanted to do was open his dang presents. But my cute nephew Landon did a great job and all the other kids were super excited and later that night when we got home Prescott wanted Optimus to come back and see him.
I made and decorated Prescott's traditional Rice Krispie cake again this year. He couldn't wait to take all the Transformers figurines and Transformers pictures off of it.
Presents were his favorite part of the party; I guess that is normal when you're a 4 year old!
After presents we had a pinata and the little kids all hit it right in the same spot and since it was loaded down and really heavy it broke open before any of the big kids had a turn. I used Prescott's favorite treat along with his thank you's for the pinata treat. So since his favorite treat this year is fruit snacks we filled the pinata with fruit snacks, Gushers and fruit roll ups. So when the pinata broke open the kids all grabbed their thank you bag from Prescott and filled them to top.
Dinner, bounce house, a visit from Optimus Prime, presents, Rice Krispie cake, pinata and swimming made for a very successful and fun 4th birthday party!
Nothing is better than all your family swimming together and celebrating your special little boy's birthday!
This cute, wild, loud, funny, tall, silly, crazy, adorable, sweet, blue eyed, spiky hair and dimple faced little boy of ours made his grand entrance 4 years ago. He stole my heart the day he was born and has had it ever since. We wouldn't be the same little family without our energetic Prescott. Our lives are more interesting, exciting, crazy, loud, educational and very entertaining. I can't believe you are 4 years old Prescott but you will always be my baby boy!
