Chad's family has a tradition to sleep over at the parade route and they have for years and years. This time when we went up to see Grandpa Bawden and take him lunch, we decided to take the kids to temple square.
Prescott was horrible and Nixon and him fought most of the time but the girls loved it which helped fighting the two boys worth it.
After dinner, games and treats the tradition of party pooper with Grandpa Bawden takes place. The kids ALL love this and think it is hilarious. They scream at you to honk your horn and if you do they all cheer. But if you don't, you are publicly humiliated by the whole group who sings the party pooper song to you as loud as they can.
The parade is always a favorite especially when you have young kids and you watch the excitement on their faces.
But after partying all night by the end of the parade everyone is REALLY tired!
Even though we were all tired the 24th party continued at Cherry Hill with all of my family. Lunch, treats, water slides, lazy river, white rapids and swimming is a great way to celebrate.
We got dinner on the way home and then ate on our back deck with my parents while we watched the fireworks.
