This cute girl was 1 out of the 3 representatives from her class to participate in the 3rd grade school spelling bee. She had to review 522 words and we are so proud of her making it as far as she did. I'm not sure who was more nervous during the spelling bee.
Paislee ended up taking 9th place but actually only spelled 1 word wrong. They got 3 strikes before they were out. She would spell the word so fast that she didn't even listen to how the word was used in the sentence. I had warned her about this very thing several times that morning so it was a hard lesson learned. It kinda broke my heart knowing how hard she had studied and also knowing she was spelling the word right but just spelled the wrong one. Wrong thrown baby girl!
