VALENTINE'S DAY!

 

 Cupid left love notes the 12 days before Valentines. Then left a love gift with their love note on Valentine's Day!

Paislee had a dance, tumbling and school party. I was able to go and help with her school party. And while helping I found out Paislee wrote a love note to Hayden. WHAT? Paislee my love you don't ever chase after boys, they chase you. And just so you know after I told Dad about the love note he said NO BOYS until you're 30!

Chad gave the prettiest flowers for love day, but what he said about them meant more than the flowers did. He handed them to me and said I love you sweetheart and I wanted your flowers to be perfect. So I did purple daisy's because you love daisy's. I know you hate roses but I had them add 3 in the bouquet because it means I LOVE YOU! The orange flowers are to compliment the purple flowers and you love the color pink so we adding in some pink carnations. I had them add extra greenery to make it really big so you know how much you mean to me. And I made sure they put it in a purple vase because that is your favorite color. His explanation was so sweet and meant more than the beautiful flowers did because he cared enough to think about every last detail. I gave him his man bouquet like I do every year. This year he got a new electric toothbrush in his bouquet because his died. He loves M&M's so I filled the vase of his bouquet with peanut M&M's. He had been talking about Tootsie Roll Pop suckers for the two weeks before so I made flowers out of suckers. And it wouldn't be a gift for my love without adding in a Home Depot gift card.

We had dinner at home and invited my parents over. After dinner we invited my siblings and their families over for dessert. We played a kiss or tell game with everyone and it was so much fun. We all sat in a circle and would spin the bottle. Once the bottled landed on someone you had to decide if you wanted to kiss that person or tell something about that person. I made a basket full of questions like what do you love most about this person and what is this persons best quality. Kiss or tell ended up being a huge hit with everyone. We laughed, we cried and we had so much fun playing the game together. It was a perfect way to spend Valentine's Day!
