My mom's side of the family has their Christmas party the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year. It is the perfect timing because it never gets in the way of all the other parties and events in December. And it also is the perfect party to get us in the Christmas spirit. We start by eating dinner and this is how many potatoes it takes to feed our group. We're a potato eating family!

After eating we play games and the kids do crafts.
Prescott was so excited about me taking a picture of his snowman as you can see by his extremely happy face!
Then every year I am in charge of The Nativity. This was actually the first year I wasn't sweating afterwards. The kids listened so good and no one cried. It was by far the best Nativity we have done yet.
After the Nativity we get a special visit from Santa. Paislee told Santa she wanted Monster High Dolls.
Now Prescott totally surprised me this year. I thought for sure he would freak out and cry with Santa. But we told him that he can tell Santa he wants cars and he was hooked and loving Santa. From the second Santa entered the room Prescott keep looking at him saying, "Santa, cars?" It was so dang cute, everyone knows the way to Prescott heart is with cars!
