Since Paislee is off track we decided to use our POAP and go to Tracy Aviary. It was perfect weather and hardly anybody was there. We went to the bird show where Paislee was picked to be the helper and got to hold the bird on her arm.
We also feed the Sun Conures again, which is always a favorite! This time one of the birds landed on Paislee's head and she was so excited. Prescott just stared at them and said "Hi Birdie!" He LOVES to feed the birdies. Since it wasn't busy there was only one other kid in feeding the birds which was awesome. Because usually only one to two birds will land on your arm at a time but because there were only three kids feeding them 3 to 4 birds would land on them to eat.
We also decided to try the Pelican Encounter this time since it wasn't busy. Prescott wouldn't touch the fish but loved watching them eat. Paislee wasn't sure about holding the fish at first but loved watching the pelicans swallow them whole.
It was such a nice relaxing day with my kiddos!
