The kids were so excited and ready to search for their Easter baskets. Prescott found his right away because it was hide in his favorite hiding spot, under the table. Paislee took a little longer to find her basket this year because it was in a trick spot. After she found her basket she thought she could get it by herself, but quickly realized she would need daddy's help to get it down.

Paisee's favorite part of her basket was her turtle Ty doll and her Nook gift card.
Prescott's favorite part of his baskets was his Kix cereal and his books.
We also started a tradition last Easter to teach Paislee and Prescott what and who Easter is really all about. So we started a spiritual egg hunt, after they find the eggs we open the eggs together and talk about the pictures inside the eggs. We also have 4 gold eggs which have our Jesus penny inside of them. We all wear our Jesus penny all day in our shoe so when we feel the penny it will remind us what Easter is really about. It was a touching experience to have with Paislee this year because she understood the meaning of most of the pictures and listening to her talk about them brought a sweet spirit to start our Easter day with.
Paislee and Prescott looked adorable in their Easter outfits this year and Prescott was his stink head self during pictures like always. The kid HATES getting his picture taken and he is making Mommy hate taken his picture just as much, if he wasn't so dang cute!
After church we went to Grandpa & Grandma Great's house for the annual Easter egg hunt and dinner.
Paislee was a champ and ran super fast to grab as many eggs as she could grab. Prescott caught on very fast and was running like all the kids and grabbing all the eggs he could see.
At the end of the hunt you count your eggs up and Grandpa Great gives you money for your eggs. Paislee got $3.35 and Prescott got $2.25.
It was such a fun and exciting Easter for our little family this year!
