SHE IS FINALLY 4!

BUILD-A-BEAR
Grandpa & Grandma Huntsman took Paislee to Build-A-Bear for her birthday on Saturday. She had tons of fun and named her bear Jessica.

GOOD MORNING BIRTHDAY GIRL!
So let me be completely honest, I REALLY struggled with Paislee turning 4. The night before her birthday I was sick to my stomach and had to hold back the tears. Stupid? Maybe, but 4 is closer to 5 and 5 means Kindergarten and I am just not ready for that. So the morning of her birthday I knew Paislee was awake when I heard the squeal as she opened her door and saw all the decorations for her birthday. She then crawled up in our bed, both Chad and I said, "Happy Birthday sweetheart." She then leaned over and started rubbing my face kinda like a dog and said so sincerely, "Mommy can I please turn 4 today?" It really brought sweet/bitter tears to my eyes! Yes, baby you are 4 today so let's celebrate! So one thing about birthdays at our house, they are a bit extreme. From the second you wake up until the second you go to bed I do everything I can to make your day a special one. However, once your birthday is over, it is over and I don't want to hear about it again for a year lol!!!
Chad and I wanted to give Paislee her presents from us before she had to go to preschool. It was so dang funny because she pretended like she didn't even notice her Hello Kitty bike. We still have no idea why but it was pretty dang funny.
Paislee had been telling us for weeks that she really wanted flowers for her birthday. So that was the first thing she went to and was probably the present she was the most excited for. After presents she put on the family birthday breakfast hat and we sang to her and then ate some breakfast. We had cinnamon Life cereal, her birthday request! We then got ready and let her ride her new bike for a couple minutes before it was time to head to preschool.

ALL ABOUT PAISLEE
So on your birthday at Paislee's preschool you get to bring in a special visitor and have an all about you day. So of course Pais wanted to bring her Daddy as her special visitor. She also helped me make her birthday poster with lots of cute pictures of her and all the things she loves to do. Then at school we played a fun all about Paislee cake walk with her class.

CHUCK E. CHEESE
We had Paislee's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese and to her it was a magical birthday party. Pais and I got there early to save tables, while we were waiting she was watching the show and didn't move a muscle. As soon as her guests started to come the party began. We ate birthday pizza and then the kids got a cup of tokens to go and play the gun games. It was so much fun this year because Paislee was old enough to show Daddy the games she wanted to play. She also didn't leave her Daddy's side the entire night, she is such a Daddy's girl. Not only did the kids get in on the game action, so did the dad's. They had a basketball game shoot off, and Kyle ended up winning with 38 points. After the tokens were gone we headed back to the sing and cut the cake. Paislee's party was a Hello Kitty themed party. She was dressed head to toe in Hello Kitty and our adorable neighbor made the most amazing Hello Kitty cake EVER! It was so cute that I really didn't even want to cut it.After cake Paislee got to open presents. So as she opened the presents she didn't even look at them before she was asking for the next one. This is not like my sweet Paislee and this was not okay with Chad and I. So the next day after things calmed down I talked to her about how rude she was when she was opening presents. She felt bad and said, "Mommy I was just really excited!" I told her that I understand she was excited but it is rude to not even look at a present before wanting to open the next one. So she called everyone and said she was sorry. So after we got that all cleared up she was able to play with her new birthday toys which she loves. If you can't tell by the pictures she is one loved little girl.

BIRTHDAY TRADITIONS
Since Pais was 2 I have been taking a picture of her in my wedding dress. I then take that picture and put all the things about Paislee from that year over the top of the picture. It is a fun birthday tradition and is made possible because of my talented best friend Katie. THANKS FRIEND!!!
