CHRISTMAS CAROL: We haven't taken Paislee to a ton of movies because we felt like she wasn't old enough to sit quietly. And like most people I HATE when people bring kids to the movie and they ruin the show for everyone else around. So Paislee was really excited to go to the movie, especially because Austin and Landon got to come. So we went and saw the Christmas Carol which by the way it was horrible and I would not recommend wasting your money. It is Charles Dickens real version and it is weird, strange and kinda erie.
FAT CATS: So every year we go to Pizza Factory for some yummy pizza and then to Fat Cats for some family fun filled bowling. The kids had a blast and did I mention that I beat Chad in both games!
ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS: Okay if you want to see a cute show that is totally worth every penny go see this show. Paislee didn't move the entire time and loved it so much we had to go and buy the soundtrack. She sings it at the top of her lungs while driving in the car. It's a dang good thing Chad and I love listening to her sing, her favorite song is "All the Single Ladies."
DISCOVERY GATEWAY: We took Paislee to Discovery Gateway for some family fun. It was wonderful because she was old enough this time to just run around and play. Chad and I just followed her and watched her as she played and discovered. We didn't have to rush and she took her time doing whatever she wanted. Her favorite thing was the grocery store, which she did about 3 times.

NEW YEARS EVE: So maybe we are lame but spending time with our family is the perfect way to bring in the new year. We went to Olive Garden for an early dinner and then watched movies and ate treats until midnight. At midnight the kids banged pots and pans and thought it was the greatest thing in the world. So I don't know about the rest of you but 2009 was a HORRIBLE year for us in so many ways. So from the bottom of my heart I can truly say,

SLEDDING & SNOWMAN: Paislee has been begging to build a snowman and go sledding. So we called up Chaddy and the girls and off we went. The girls had so much fun and I was shocked that they wanted to hit the jump down the hill. After sledding for a while we decided to build a snowman, which the snow was perfect for building a snowman. We had to use what we could find around us, so the eyes were dead apples off a tree, his mouth were some dead leaves and his nose and arms were sticks. So after the girls were done and ready for lunch Chaddy dared my husband to tackle the snowman. If you know my husband at all it doens't take any convincing to do something like this. It was so funny to watch and his face was covered with snow after. We ended our fun outing with lunch at McDonald's, the little girls choice.
