BATHROOM WALL DESIGN

So my cute friend Brooke who I went to college with started this awesome blog called All Things Thrifty. The blog has great tips for decorating on a budget. Well she just painted the cutest design on kitchen wall and I loved it. So I decided I needed a weekend project to keep me busy. So I decided my green bathroom upstairs could use a make-over. So here's the story on the green master bathroom. The week of Paislee's blessing I went on a decorating frenzy. I don't know what I was thinking but I wanted the house to look perfect for everyone who was coming to the luncheon afterwards. So we went to Sears Grand to buy paint and I took a sage color green rug for them to match. Well let's say we won't be buying paint from Sears Grand ever again. He gave me a Christmas green and I didn't dare tell him it was the wrong color because he had already tried to fix it 7 yes 7 times! So we took the paint and thought this will do for now and we will re-paint it later. Well later never came, I should have known it wouldn't. So I have this HORRIBLE bright Christmas green in our master bathroom. Well the other part of this long story, I was at Kohl's with my mom one day and we saw the horrible Christmas green with a milk chocolate brown and it looked awesome. So I decided to try that first instead of painting it all over again. We have very high vaulted ceilings and it's not as easy as it sounds to just paint over the Christmas green. So when I saw Brooke's cute design, I decided to paint them on my wall and see how it looked. So the hardest part was getting the overhead to work, lol! A piece had broke off inside so the top piece had nothing to screw into and it took me over an hour to figure out that was the problem. So once I took it apart and glued the piece back on we were ready to trace the cute design.

AFTER PICTURES:I love it and it was just the change the bathroom needed, oh and did I mention I already had everything for the project so it didn't cost ANYTHING! So thanks so much Brooke you creative thing you. Now I just have to Kohl's and buy the milk chocolate rugs and towels to pull it all together.
