CHRISTMAS DAY

So Paislee was up sick all night Christmas Eve night and so on Christmas morning we finally had to wake her up to go see if Santa had come to our house. She woke right up when I whispered in her ear that Santa had come and left her some presents.So up she jumped and her and Zoe sat at the top of the stairs and waited as Daddy & Mommy got to see what Santa brought her. She was so excited for her penguin doll, yes her penguin doll, not her huge as tall as her doll house or couch full of presents but that silly little penguin doll.When Paislee was taking the stuff out of her stocking she was really excited about each and every little thing until she found the orange. Take a look at the face she gave us when she took it out.So Santa played a mean trick on Paislee and hide her digital camera in the top of her doll house. So as Paislee opened her last gift and she said, "I already know what this is, a digical camera." When it wasn't a digital camera her eyes filled with tears but she didn't say anything. I said what's wrong sweetheart? She looked up at me with HUGE tears in her eyes and said, "I really wanted a digical camera." So we pointed out that her doll house had presents in the top, she jumped right up to check it out. When she opened her camera up she said, "I knew it." She hasn't put her camera down since she got it, she takes it EVERYWHERE with her and takes pictures of everything. She is her mama in training! So if you know Paislee you know she isn't allowed to have gum except when I need her to be really good which is usually when we go get jeans at the jean store. Because she can't have gum she is obsessed with it. So she was so excited when she got a bubblegum machine from Santa, what the heck was he thinking lol!So we don't go anywhere during Christmas day because everyone comes to us, and I LOVE it. Grandpa & Grandma Huntsman came out and watch Paislee open some presents and then ate some yummy Christmas breakfast with us. Then Grandpa & Grandma Bawden, Aubree, Koby and Mandy all came out for some cinnamon rolls. Then Paislee got to open present after present from the sleigh #2 that Grandpa & Grandma Bawden brought.After we hang out and Paislee plays with her toys for a while we then head out to my parents for the best Christmas dinner in town. If you know anything about my family that always involves potatoes and gravy. Before dinner my parents or should I call them Santa #3 gives the grandkids their gifts. They always spoil them rotten, oh but Chad and I were also spoiled rotten this year. My parents gave us and our spouse a cruise with everything even airfare paid for. YEAH YEAH, is that not the best Christmas gift ever!We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. It was so fun to watch the magic in Paislee's eyes and the excitement in her voice. The best part of Christmas is Christmas isn't over for us because Chad gets the entire week off after Christmas. It will be so nice to spend some quality time as a family.CHRISTMAS MEMORIES
