12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: DAY #1

So no I am not the 12 Days of Christmas Elf to. I know Paislee has Elves all over the place watching her and reporting on her behavior no wonder she hates them. So Chad's cute parents do the 12 Days of Christmas Elf with all the grandkids. Since they don't live close to use they just give us the gifts and we get to be the elf. So on the first night Paislee was HORRIBLE, and it had been going on for two days. She was naughty at Jenny's wedding and a monster at my mom's for Sunday dinner. I was DONE, so when we came home it was time for the elf to leave a present and I knew she didn't deserve one. I couldn't bring myself to reward her with a present when she had been naughty for two days in a row. So I wrote a little note to Paislee and rang the doorbell. We had already told her the elf would be coming sometime, so when the doorbell rang she went running and was really surprised to find a note. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "Where is my present?" I began to read the note that explained the elf had been watching her and was really sad with the way she had acted the last two days. It then read I had a present for you but you won't be able to get it right now. So I am usually pretty good with not letting her get to me and talk her way out of things but when she started to cry and say, "I am sorry, please tell him I am sorry" I felt sad for her. She then asked to throw the stupid, dumb note away because she hated it. So Chad and I told her that her the way she had been acting the last two days was not okay and she needed to start behaving if she wanted the elf and Santa to bring her presents. Okay Daddy & Momma she said and walked upstairs to get ready for bed. She did everything she was asked to do and didn't argue once. So we decided she had learned her lesson and the doorbell rang right before she went to bed. So here is DAY #1 of the 12 Days of Christmas. She got a marker coloring activity.
