LETTERS TO SANTA 2011

Paislee's letters to Santa this year were so fun to read because she can read and write them all herself. She sounded out her entire letter and spelled everything herself. She asked for a "Merkin with a hors", a "I Pod" and "a ril harslon" which spells, a American doll with a horse, a Ipod and a real hair salon.Mr. Peeps also brought Paislee and Prescott letters from Santa telling them that they were on the good list. Sidenote: the day before Santa sent Paislee an email letting her know if she had gotten back on the good list. At the end of the email the light goes green if you are on the good list and red if you are not. So when Paislee came out and saw the letters from Santa she started crying. I was really confused why she would be crying over a letter from Santa. She said, "Mom, my name is in red so that means I am on the naughty list." I couldn't help but smile because Santa had wrote Paislee's name in red and Prescott's name in green probably because they were Christmas colors. But to Paislee the colors meant the good list and the naughty list. So after some convincing she finally opened the letter from Santa and found out she was still on the good list. She was so cute with Prescott and squealed louder when I read his letter than when we read hers. She truly LOVES her baby brother and watching over him. She teaches him, loves him and protects him. I love when Prescott laughs and squeals at Paislee, he has no idea the amount of information she is telling him but he squeals with delight everytime she talks to him.
