Since we didn't know what we were having it made it hard to get the room done before the baby. I didn't want a neutral themed room and since the baby would sleep in the bassinet for the first while anyways I wasn't in a rush to get it done. Now the tricky thing about this room was the black bead board on the walls which I love, but it caused a small problem. How would I tie a room together with black walls and white furniture? The worst part now was trying to figure out how I would do a black & white room for my little boy without it looking girlie? Oh and yes, Chad did ask me what the letters on the wall meant. I must have given him the are you really that dumb look because he laughed and figured it out.And NO a Utah Utes room was not an option for me, that is pushing it a bit much. I don't hate Utah like I did but I don't love them enough to have a room for my little boy themed around them.I usually hate animal prints but this one wasn't tacky but kinda cute. It matched and worked great with my black and white problem. Then it started to grow on me the more I looked for something else.It is nothing I usually would have done but I couldn't be happier with how his room turned out. It is absolutely adorable!
