PRESCOTT'S BLESSING

We blessed our sweet Prescott this last Fast Sunday and it was such an amazing and sweet day. We have waited a really long time for this day to come and we have also been through a lot to get this sweet miracle here. But Prescott was totally worth the wait and the blessing was very emotional for Chad and myself.I don't love the traditional white blessing tux. So our sweet little Prescott wore a black and white tuxedo. He looked absolutely adorable, it was the cutest little boy blessing outfit I have ever seen. My mom made a beautiful black and white afghan to match.I wanted Prescott and Paislee to have something special to wear together on his blessing day. So I ordered Prescott the tiniest little boutonniere ever, it was so little and so dang cute. Then I covered a headband with ribbon for Paislee and had the flower shop add fresh flowers that matched Prescott's boutonniere. We had so many family members and friends there to support us that day. It was amazing and an honor to watch the men of at least 25 stand together in the circle for Prescott. Chad gave Prescott a beautiful blessing, I had a hard time holding back the tears. I am so grateful that Chad honors his Priesthood and is worthy to bless our children. After church our family & friends joined us for a luncheon in honor of Prescott. We had 13 different kinds of yummy soup, crackers, rolls, fruit and dessert. We had LOTS of family help with the luncheon and we couldn't have done it without them. Chad and I are so lucky to have such wonderful families that love and support us with everything.
