ASPIRE DANCE COMPETITION

This was Paislee's second competition this season and both her and I did a ton better with nerves and tears. Paislee did good, she might have been a little to confident about winning Queen in St. George. But she still made her Dad and I very proud. But I have decided I don't like the whole solo thing, one it's a TON of work for both of us. Two, it costs a lots of money and last but not least it makes Paislee and I fight a TON. The last one is the one really getting to me, she thinks she knows everything and needs no help. Then I think she needs more help than she probably really does need but yet she thinks I know nothing. This whole solo thing has turned me into a crazier dance mom and I don't like who it has made me become. Not sure we are going down this path next year! But there is something really amazing being able to watch your 6 year old on a stage rocking a dance all by herself. Paislee ended up taking Ruby and we were so proud of her!
The next day was the team competition and they all did great. Foxy's ended up taking a diamond 1st place and a ruby. They did amazing!
